Lake Township Chamber Seeks Nominations for LCA Leadership Awards
Hartville, Ohio —The Lake Township Chamber of Commerce has opened nominations for its annual Lake Chamber Awards, which acknowledge business and community leaders for their leadership and community contributions. Any business owner, manager, or service organization person is eligible for these awards. Nominations will be taken online at www.LakeChamber.com/AwardsCriteria until Thursday, December 21, 2023.
Individuals interested in nominating someone are encouraged to visit the Awards Criteria page provided, read the criteria, and review the past winners. In selecting the slate of recipients for the calendar year 2023, the Chamber of Commerce has a nominating committee that will review all entries against the criteria and a list of past winners.
The LCA dinner is open to the public and will be held on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, the details of which will be announced at a later date.
The awards categories and their criteria are as follows:
Outstanding Business Professional of the Year
Presented to a business owner who promotes excellent customer and client relations, offers quality products and services, has demonstrated stability and longevity in their industry, and has been consistently involved in our local community.
Outstanding Young Professional
Presented to a Lake Township young professional under 40 who has demonstrated personal initiative, strong leadership characteristics, and promise in their industry, and has also been consistently involved in our local community.
Community Service Award
Presented to an individual or organization that has distinguished themselves by performing a significant act of community service, a spirit of volunteerism, uniting the community in a common goal, or raising awareness of an issue.
Economic Development Award
Presented to a business or organization that furthers the economic growth of our community in terms of job creation, capital investment, or facility expan
Community Impact Award
Presented to an individual or organization who has contributed to the betterment of the region through their involvement and support of various community and professional organizations.
Chamber Impact Award
Presented to an individual Chamber member in appreciation for selfless service and donation of time and talent to the Lake Township Chamber of Commerce.
Community Betterment Award
Presented to a business and/or property owner that has made a substantial capital investment to develop and complete a significant property beautification project.
Lifetime Achievement (aka Legacy) Award
To a business owner who has exemplified a lifetime of good business practices, outstanding character and unfaltering community leadership.
